Kunturwarey, (insidesomalia.org) - A truck carrying charcoal and people coming from Kuntuwarey district and heading towards Bravo district turned over near Bulamarer location in the lower Shabelle region in southern Somalia.
There was immediate death and injuries after the lorry has gone to upside down.
The actual place where the lorry turned over is Mukay Dumis village some 6km away from Bulamarer location.
So far one person is confirmed dead and three others sustained minor injuries, the wounded were taken to Bulamarer hospital where they are now receiving medical treatments as eyewitnesses in the area told inside Somalia Website.
Road accidents are common in the lower Shabelle region because of the poor roads in the region.
These roads were not renovated since the last regime was toppled from power in the year 1991.
Inside the road your eyes would catch a lot of water catchments on the road.
The current downpours in the region have isolated Janale location from the rest of the region due to poor roads within the region.
Despite the impassability of the roads both man and animals have shown their enthusiasms towards the rain, which have been going on for the past 48 hours.
The region has experienced persisting drought for the past years.
