Mogadishu,(insidesomalia.org)- People who fled from their abodes in the Somali capital Mogadishu due to sequence fighting have in one voice requested from the Somali dignitaries meeting in the Djibouti capital Djibouti to reach everlasting peace, for they have suffered enough and are saying enough is enough.

Most of these people are in living in makeshift shanties in between Mogadishu and Afgoi town some 30km from the capital Mogadishu, and they have sturdly requested from the government officials, the United Nations and the R-liberation of Somalia group to toss aside their rifts for their seeks.

Halima a mother of 7 living in Hawo Abdi in the outskirts of Mogadishu who lost her husband in stray bullet says that she has nothing to take cover from the torrential rains and she also added that she has nothing to feed with her children of which the youngest is 2.

“Their father was the family bread winner and since we lost on sight our situation was rapidly dropping to ground level and in fact I have nothing to feed with my children” said Halima. Halima added that the end the night standing and they can hardly go to sleep because of severer cold and dampness.

“I have my small house which does not leak excessively, and it is quite better than this shanty, there we could sleep despite the hunger, but here were are attacked by both hunger and cold, so therefore I am nonce more appealing from the officials in Djibouti to reach an ultimate peace” said Halima.

It is not merely Halima who is demanding for lasting peace, but all the internal displaced people in the fringes of Mogadishu and as well those suffering in the neighboring countries.
