Written by Mohamed Omar Hussein
Monday, 14 July 2008

Sanag, (insidesomalia.org)-The health situation of the kidnapped duo held in the ranges of Almadow in Sanag region in northern Somalia is updated to be worsening, because of shortage of the prescribed amount of medicine.

The father of this family has blood pressure, and used to take a pill after every 24 hours.

Although the elders of Almadow have done all sorts of efforts yet they have not succeeded in their efforts, because there words to the kidnappers were put below the feet.

Forces from the Somaliland and the kidnappers are keeping eye to each other, and the elders are the solo mediates who are running in between the two parties.

Yet there are no hopes whether these elderly German couples would be released.

The kidnappers have demanded for gigantic ransom of about one million dollars, but so far no group has granted for them the demanded amount

The reports from the mountainous region of Almadow say that the kidnappers are given balance diet meals.
