Russian Female Kidnapped in Mogadishu

Mogadishu, (insidesomalia.org)-Armed groups have abducted a Russian female doctor in Somali capital Mogadishu on Saturday-witnesses said.

Some eyewitnesses said that she was tortured by the abductors before they take hostage her as she was shopping in the market in particular textile section.

The woman who has been in living in Mogadishu more than 10 years was the wife of Somali man namely Omar Yusuf.

She also converted to Islam when she arrived in Somalia as some relatives of her husband told Shabelle English service.

She also replaced her original name that was Gallini into Khadija Islamic name.

One relative told Shabelle that she went several times to the pilgrimage to perform the Hajj of Islam.

Its unidentified the motive behind the seizure of the Russian medical doctor woman and also the groups behind her abduction

She went several times to Russia for medical colloquium.
